About the show:
Victor Mavedzenge explores the subtle nature of communication through painting and performance. In the exhibition “ Transference”, Victor explores the idea of information, interpretation and limbic resonance. The show challenges the viewer to question why they are drawn to one painting and not the other.
On the opening night visitors will be given a questionnaire that surveys how they feel about a set of 3 similar paintings. The “reveal” is a video of the making of the paintings.
In performance, Victor Mavedzenge will deliver spoken word poetry and then host a short Q&A session afterwards.
Audience participation is highly encouraged for the exhibition to reach its intended outcome.
