All I asked for was a little embrace
A little touch-a little love
To the heavens I looked for my Angel
Behold-A ton of bricks
All I gave was my all
I had nothing more-that was all good by me.
And for the want of one
Behold-a ton of bricks upon my heart
Pain
All I have are questions-Can the world give?
A little caring touch
Or does the world see nothing but itself
Can the world give a little loving embrace?
Or is the world too busy to take a little time.
Can the world give a little love?
Or is the world too engaged with more logical
Issues.
Maybe a little-is too much for the world
And one becomes afraid to give
Incase it be thrown back to your face
Like a ton of bricks
